Peter Schnellhardt, born in 1961 in Coburg, has been working as a freelance painter, sculptor and web designer since his graduation as designer (toy design).
Peter Schnellhardt sculpted the 2 m high Hummel figurine “Merry Wanderer” for Goebel in the year 2000.
As a drawer he worked for several clients and realized book illustrations, graphic works and drawings. Drawings and painting have been his passion long before his education as a toy designer. Over the years he has been developing an individual drawing style and created his own special figurines. The motifs come about very spontaneously and often have a playful and humorous character. His 3 cats are for sure very helpful creative directors for him.
